Certification and Advancement

Upon successful passing of this comprehensive exam, participants will receive the Accordemy® Certified Trainer Level One certificate. This certification not only validates your skills and knowledge but also serves as a stepping stone to more advanced training certifications offered by Accordemy®. This examination assesses the knowledge and skills acquired during the in-person training, ensuring that all certified trainers meet the high standards set by Accordemy®.

Eligibility for Further Advancement

Candidates with training experience and attending any training of trainers course (by any provider) are eligible for the level one exam. Though not necessary, but it is recommended that candidates should attend the Essential Training of Trainers course offered by Accordemy®.

Exam Accessibility

The certification exam for Accordemy® Certified Trainer – Level One (Accordemy® CT-1) is not only available to those who have completed the Level One program through Accordemy® but also to trainers who have undergone equivalent Training of Trainers (T.O.T.) programs elsewhere. This inclusivity ensures that experienced trainers who have not initially participated in the Accordemy® program can still obtain certification if they demonstrate proficiency in the essential skills and knowledge covered in the Accordemy® CT-1 syllabus.

Once users register, they will have access to the exam for 10 days during which they can practice unlimited times with the mock test to familiarize with the exam format, but candidates will have only one time access to the actual exam. This subscription will expire upon submission of the exam or expiration of 10 days.

Exam Details

  • Format: The exam consists of both theoretical and practical components, designed to comprehensively assess the trainer’s ability to apply learning theories and training methodologies effectively.
  • Passing Score: To achieve certification, candidates must score at least 85% on the exam. This high standard ensures that all Accordemy® certified trainers are highly competent and capable of delivering exceptional training experiences.

Advancement to Next Levels

To progress to subsequent levels of the Trainer Development Program (TDP), trainers must not only pass the Level One certification exam with a minimum of 85% but also meet additional practical experience requirements:

  • Practice Period: Trainers must complete at least 6 months of active training practice following their certification.
  • Minimum Training Sessions: Trainers are required to conduct at least 10 in-person training sessions during this period. This hands-on experience is vital for applying the theoretical knowledge gained and refining facilitation skills.

Restrictions on Progression

It is important to note that the subsequent phases of the Trainer Development Program, including Level Two and beyond, are exclusively accessible to trainers who have met these prerequisites and are certified through Accordemy®. This policy ensures that all participants in advanced modules have a standardized level of expertise and commitment to quality in training delivery.
