The Certified Trainer Level 1 verifies that a trainer possesses essential facilitation skills, understands adult learning theories, and can conduct structured training sessions using established instructional methodologies.

The certification process includes a formal, proctored examination designed to assess the practical and theoretical knowledge gained from the Essential T.O.T. course or equivalent experience.

The certificate is more than a badge—it is a globally portable credential that tells employers, clients, and institutions that you meet a standardized level of trainer readiness.

To be eligible for the Accordemy® Certified Trainer Level 1 certification exam, candidates must:

  • Complete the Essential T.O.T. training course offered by Accordemy®, or
  • Demonstrate equivalent foundational training experience with documentation
  • Have access to a computer that supports Safe Exam Browser (SEB) for secure exam delivery
  • Be available to take the exam within a 30-day window following registration

Note: This certification is valid for three (3) years. Maintaining a valid certificate is required to pursue Level 2 and higher certifications in the TDP series.

The certification exam is fully online and designed to measure real-world competency, not just theoretical knowledge.

  • Format: Online via Safe Exam Browser (SEB)
  • Mock Exam: Unlimited access for 30 days to a full mock exam for practice and familiarity
  • Final Exam: One-time access to the official certification exam during the 30-day period
  • Duration: Timed assessment featuring 40–60 questions
  • Question Types: Scenario-based, multiple-choice, true/false, and application-based questions

Candidates must demonstrate their ability to plan, facilitate, and evaluate a training session using recognized methodologies and adult learning principles.
